Workyards: Playgrounds Planned for Adventure

Rudolph's treatise on her development of the Workyard, a playground that can be developed, planned, and built by the ultimate users: children and their families. In a Workyard, children have physical challenges, music, dancing, rope climbing, building, etc. with a variety of free, donated used materials. For instance, “Old bedsteads and mattresses can be arranged to make a hospital or a furniture store.” Or a roadside motel, perhaps. With illustrations of Workyards being enjoyed by children, constructions, used materials, etc. First edition. 25.5 cm; 66 pp.; illustrated from plan and photographs. Owner's stamp; else a very good copy in pictorial wrappers.
