The World as We Feel It Now: Understanding Collective Anxiety in an Unsettled Time

The world hasn’t collapsed—but it doesn’t feel stable either.

Many people move through daily life functioning, working, and planning, yet beneath the surface there is a persistent sense of unease. Nothing is visibly wrong, but everything feels uncertain. This quiet anxiety has become one of the defining emotional experiences of modern life.

The World as We Feel It Now is not a political analysis or a clinical self-help manual. It is a thoughtful, psychologically grounded exploration of collective anxiety, mental overload, and the emotional effects of living in an unsettled time.

Written in a calm, accessible voice, this book examines why anxiety today often lacks a clear cause, how constant information and comparison exhaust the mind, and why the future feels harder to imagine with confidence. Rather than offering quick fixes, it provides clarity—helping readers understand what they are feeling and why it makes sense.

This book is for anyone who feels unsettled without knowing exactly why, and for those seeking a quieter, more realistic way to understand anxiety in the modern world.
