My World War Two

Author David J Powis went through the full six years of front line hell, in the British Army, during World War Two. He survived the Malta Siege and was amongst first assault waves on the Invasions of Sicily, Italy and Gold Beach, Jig Section on D-Day. This is a book that had to be written. David J Powis was a infantryman in the 2nd Devonshire Regiment and later front line 231 Brigade Intelligence Section who had an exceptionally high casualty rate. Author David J Powis wasn't the army type and questioned the official narrative. His book doesn't glorify conflict, it's 100% true and gives a graphic account and is an accurate historical record.
