Original publisher's brown cloth binding with gilt lettering on front cover. 6 1/2" x 5 1/4." Seventy-six unnumbered pages, complete. Seventy-six black-and-white photographic plates, complete. Former owner's signature in pencil on a blank page facing the title page: "B. S. Stevens, Oct 2/93." Pages and covers are very clean and intact except for light rubbing and slight corner wear. A Very Good copy. A pictorial guidebook of the World's Columbian Exposition that was held in Chicago, Illinois in 1893. The book is composed entirely of printed photographs with accompanying captions. Emphasis is placed on the fair's different exhibits and points of interest.
