Add to basketBeginning tentatively in the red-light district of Amsterdam, he embarks on a journey that mimics the pattern of a male orgasm. Walker's experiences soon become a rollercoaster ride of erotic sexual encounters in exotic destinations from Europe to Africa, the Middle East and the Far East. He explores his own internal geography at the same time as he is getting to know other bodies, other cultures and other landscapes. In a journal he captures the philosophical insights stimulated by his outward experiences.
After his sexual explorations reach a pinnacle in a midnight encounter in the temples of Angkor Wat, Walker sparks a dramatic rescue of a group of captured Cambodian children. He finds the ture purpose of his journey--to live out something greater than he has ever lived before.
Returning home to the complications of a wife he has divorced and a daughter he has alienated, Walker uses the lessons of life learned through sexual love, travel and inner contemplation to effect reconciliation.
Walker Fayt ends up anything but ordinary.
Four years ago while lying in bed unable to sleep, the title of a book came to Mitch. Over the next several weeks, he developed an outline for the story, but a demanding "corporate" financial position in Toronto took priority.
Two years later, practicing his own philosophical beliefs about the achievement of happiness, Mitch decided to retire from corporate life and write the book that lay in waiting. Living in Whistler, British Columbia, Canada, with spectacular mountain views as inspiration, and skiing in powder as his only distraction, Mitch completed The Worldwide Sexual Adventures of Walker Fayt.
Mitch continues to live in Whistler with his wife, Suzanne, and enjoys a mountain community lifestyle. Prior to moving to Whistler, Mitch enjoyed skiing, hiking and camping and has now added snowboarding, golfing and rock climbing to his adventures. He is also Vice President of the local environmental association.
