The Wounded Healer: A Guide to Revealing the Purpose for the Pain (Paperback or Softback)

Have you been wounded?

Is there purpose for the pain?

What happens when you surrender your life to God and He leads you into a difficult situation? What if He leads you to a situation where you become wounded or endure much pain? What do you do? Is there a purpose for the pain? This book seeks to reveal that there is indeed a purpose for the pain. If you have ever been wounded emotionally, mentally, or spiritually, this book is for you. The Wounded Healer shows that God can turn any situation around and use it for His honor and glory. You can use this book as a guide to lead you to rise higher and see your life from God's perspective as He reveals the purpose for the pain.

"Pastor Barfield writes, 'It is time for Christians to take the masks off and stop pretending that their lives are perfect.' I needed to hear that! Sometimes we think that perfection is required to be a good Christian, but all we need to be is real. As you read this book, you will see that some of Pastor Barfield's real life experiences resemble your own. See how God orchestrated her life for His glory and be encouraged to hold on, trust, and see Him work it out for you, too.

I'm proud to endorse this book, as I'm sure that you will not only find her story relatable but inspirational. Pastor Barfield gives you a close-up look at her valley experiences, which are sometimes heart-wrenching, as well as her mountain-top experiences, which will inspire you and give you hope. I pray that as The Wounded Healer goes forth, it will help those battling with the 'woe is me' syndrome to see obstacles as stepping-stones on the journeys to developing a more intimate relationship with God. I was inspired, and I know you will be also."
