Wrapped Up in Murder

Life has returned to normal, or at least as normal as Lou Carsley's life ever gets. They're exploring their new relationship and preparing to spend the holidays with their families. They're nervous about how to fit the pieces of those families together and if they might end up cutting against the grain. But, surely nothing can really go wrong.

Until their tough-as-nails sister calls them in a near-panic. Her neighbor is dead, and his wife, Cailyn's friend, looks like the perfect suspect. Cailyn says absolutely no way, and begs Lou to help, even though that puts them on the opposite side of their boyfriend. But, something about the whole thing feels very wrong to Lou, and they aren't sure even Matt is able to see that.

But, as they investigate, everything seems to be knotted together and danger starts to close in. The victim may have deserved his fate, and any one of the suspects could have done it. When a second victim appears, Cailyn's friend is cleared, but Lou is already too deep to back out now. It may have already cost their relationship. But, can Lou find the real killer before they add to the body count and put a bow on the end of Lou's life?

Fallon Brown is a nonbinary(they/them) writer from Northwestern Pennsylvania. They've been writing since the age of 8 and work with whatever comes to them, be that romance, mystery, or fantasy. They live not far from their hometown with their husband, two children, two dogs, and a cat who believes she rules the roost. When they aren't trying to control the lives of fictional characters... well, actually that encompasses most of their day.
