A very scarce limited edition copy of this collection of speeches from American author William Winter. Limited to two hundred and sixty-five copies printed from type for the Dunlap Society. Very scarce work. Illustrated with a portrait frontispiece and four portrait plates. Collated complete. A collection of dramatic speeches on Henry Irving and the drama, Ian Maclaren: poetry and pathos in Scottish literature, the stage and its Apostles, and the intellectual standard in acting and writing. Written by William Winter, an American dramatic critic and author. In the original paper wraps. Externally smart with light wear and the odd small mark to the boards. Sunning to the spine and board edges. Minor loss to the head and tail of the spine due to light chipping. Internally, firmly bound.
