With deep teal cloth-covered boards, decorated in gilt, black, & red on front cover, this slim hardcover is in Near Fine condition: exceptionally clean & bright, pages creamy white with a whisper of tanning to edges. Old gift inscription in lovely script dated Christmas 188? from a woman to her friend in Kansas City on verso of frontispiece; else unmarked.
