When I self-published my memoir, Atlas Personality, I had an enviable amount of relief and proud wash over me. I did not care how much I made, I did not care who read it or what they thought, all that mattered was I did it. I received the typical praise one might get from close family and friends when I announced my book was on sale:

"Congratulations!"
"Wow! I could never do that!"

Once that ended, the most common question came up:

When I wrote the book, I came up with my own process. I borrowed from different writing teachers and books I've ready over my 31 years on earth, as well as my own proprietary methods, and came up with this book:

I want to give you tips to doing things cheaply, effectively. Can't afford an editor? Great! Can't afford a designer? Fine! For the cost of this book, I hope I can help you do it all yourself in a way that will still make you proud at the end of the day.
