Write & Draw Math: Grade 2

There are many ways to answer the math problems in this book―and that’s exactly what children need to build their mathematical reasoning and critical thinking skills.

They try different methods to solve the same math problem, using manipulatives, drawing, or writing. Because there is no single correct answer, each reproducible activity page can be reused multiple times as children’s math skills develop throughout the year. Rosenburg began teaching first grade in Fresno, California, in 1989. She has a master's degree in education counseling as well as a cross-cultural language and academic certificate. From 1994 through 1997, Mary was a mentor teacher, working with first-year teachers and experienced teachers new to first grade. She has also been a master teacher for students in the credential program at California State University, Fresno.
