How It Works:

We make publishing a book easy and fun for kids of any age!

With your Home Author Kit Workbook, just like in a “real book”, your child will create the elements of their book - from the illustrations and story text to designing their book cover, title, dedicated and ‘about the author’ pages. Then, when you’re finished, we’ll turn your child’s work into a hardcover book. Whether an autobiography, short story, graphic novel, comic book or book of poems – the Author Kit lets your child’s imagination run wild.

Your kit is filled with writing activities, step-by-step instructions and the manuscript pages your child will create their book with. Plus, The Write Thing and his friends will help guide your child through the publishing process step-by-step.

Once your child has finished creating their book pages, simply ship the materials to us with the prepaid shipping label included with your purchase.

Then, we will publish their book in our state-of-the-art facility, and you will receive your child’s one-of-a-kind hardcover book approximately 20 business days later.

Keep your child engaged and busy - whether you’re looking for a fun craft activity, journaling, hobby or a homeschool project.

The Author Kit makes the perfect gift for your creative child whether it’s for a birthday, Christmas, holidays or occasions like road trips or indoor, winter activities.

This book project lets your child’s creativity come alive with art and creative writing!

Extra copies can be purchased as gifts for friends and family.

No matter the reason, your gifted writer will be excited to have this memory book.
