Write Your Thesis in 6 Months: Using Strategic Thinking and the Kaizen Way (Academic Publishing Success Series)

Expert writing advice from the founding editors of the American Proofreading Center! Writing a Master's degree or PhD thesis can take years, cost huge sums of money, and feel like a prison sentence. But it does not have to feel that way. In Write Your Thesis in 6 Months, Drs. Griffin & Griffin offer clear advice that helps graduates students not only survive their thesis but to thrive while writing it. Using a strategic thinking approach to organizing one's scholarship and drawing from the continuous improvement practice called kaizen, they show how to turn small notes created throughout the day into paragraphs and pages of relevant thesis text. Using their systematic approach, graduate students (and even faculty trying to write journal articles!) can confidently write at least 800-1200 words each day. What is more, their approach allows thesis writers to once again enjoy daily life with friends and family without fearful thoughts that they "really should be writing right now" instead. Drs. Griffin & Griffin make writing a thesis a joyful journey of discovery instead of a rough water ride through hell.
