ANSWER OVER 200 WRITING PROMPTS
Writing Conversational Korean: Book Two is designed to help the intermediate or advanced Korean learner practice their conversational writing skills by answering writing prompts over four themed chapters: preferences, entertainment, food, and nature. Answer over two hundred writing prompts, including:
- "영화를 보면서 울어 본 적이 있어요?" (Have you ever cried while watching a movie?)
- "강아지와 고양이 중에 어떤 동물을 선호하세요?" (Do you prefer cats or dogs?)
- "절대 먹고 싶지 않은 음식은 무엇인가요?" (What food will you never eat?)
It is the second book in a series of four, each covering different topics (see below).
EXPAND YOUR VOCABULARY
Each page of writing prompts includes useful related vocabulary to inspire you as you write your answers. There are over seven hundred vocabulary words featured in Writing Conversational Korean: Book Two, including slang, short phrases, and natural expressions.
READ WHAT NATIVE KOREAN SPEAKERS HAVE WRITTEN
Each chapter ends with a section showing natural Korean writing samples submitted by native Korean speakers. Read what they wrote in response to questions like:
- "완벽한 주말을 보내기 위한 당신만의 계획은요?" (What's your plan for a perfect weekend?)
- "가장 좋아하는 악당이 누구예요?" (Who is your favorite villain?)
- "다이어트를 해 본 적이 있으세요?" (Have you ever dieted?).

Reinforce vocabulary and grammar that you've learned while encountering new vocabulary and grammar to help you write your own answers. PRACTICE FOR REAL CONVERSATIONS
Use the writing prompts to prepare for conversations with native speakers. Practice with conversation topics you can actually use, like:
- “가장 좋아하는 계절은 무엇이에요?” (What's your favorite season?)
- “파인애플 피자 어떠세요” (How do you feel about pineapple pizza?)
- “가장 좋아하는 배우는 누구예요?” (Who are your favorite actors?).

WHO IS THIS BOOK FOR?
Writing Conversational Korean: Book Two is intended for intermediate level Korean language learners, though it would also be useful for advanced learners. Book Two includes dual Korean and English questions, as well as English grammar explanations, while later books in the series geared more towards advanced learners will predominantly use Korean.
