About the Author
Beth Jacobs, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist with more than twenty years' experience in practice and a special interest in journal-assisted therapy. She has run workshops on therapeutic applications of journal writing and is an adjunct faculty member of Northwestern University Medical School. She has developed several methods of productively incorporating journals into psychotherapy.
