About the Author

William A. Guiffre graduated with a BA in English from the University of Rochester. He began his career in Brighton, teaching English to 7th and 8th graders. He continued to work in the school system as a guidance counselor, administrative assistant to the superintendent of schools, assistant principal, and principal. Guiffre was very active both professionally and as a community member serving in several organizations in leadership roles. He and his wife are summer residents of Inlet, New York and winter residents of Kiawah Island, South Carolina.
