The Wrong Way Down (Paperback)

Katia is an accomplished thief. She accepted a job with a heavy price for failure; her life. Popalia, an acolyte priestess, has vowed to return her church's stolen treasure. Ambitious and impetuous, she'll go to any means and pay whatever cost. Wynkkur is a self-taught sorcerer who miscasts as much as he evokes. He's been conscripted as a bodyguard and sent on a hopeless mission. This is not the path to their victories, but the story of their fall. This is The Wrong Way Down.

Hi everybody,Having a chance to say a little bit about The Wrong Way Down, there have been several reviews for the 1st edition that can be found on both Goodreads and professional reviews linked on my website at jakeelliotfiction.com on the 'my books' page. However, I can't seem to get anyone to review this revised edition. All the early reviews have been good, but this second edition is far tighter writing. I've gotten better at storytelling over the last several years.-This story isn't about the Holy Grail, but using the Grail as a reference point will help understand the deeper plot line. For hundreds of years a remote monastery has kept the Holy Grail safe (or hidden,) until one night two thieves break in and steal it. How would a 13th century church respond to such a crime? Probably not nicely. What if the church entrusted the wrong people to fix the problem, and those people only made a bigger problem?-That is the nature of The Wrong Way Down.-The Wrong Way Down, is a completely organic fantasy fiction novel and does not take place in our world, however there are several parallels. The sequel, Crossing Mother's Grave,  is already out and still controlled by my old publisher. Book three will be released by late spring/ early summer 2015.
