ABOUT THE BOOK AND AUTHOR

Wuthering Heights was written by Emily Brontė (1818–1848) and was first published in 1847 under her pen name Ellis Bell.

It follows the life of Heathcliff from childhood to his death in his late thirties, including life with his adopted family, his status as a servant, leaving when the woman he loves decides to marry another man and his revenge on those he believed ruined his life. Wuthering Heights is considered to be a love story as well as one of revenge.

DYSLEXIC FRIENDLY FONT

The Cactus Classics Dyslexic Friendly Font edition uses the OpenDyslexic3 font in a 12 point size. It is larger than the 12 point size in many other fonts. OpenDyslexic3 is not intended to cure dyslexia. Many people with dyslexia find this font is helpful but it does not help everyone. This edition has a glossy cover, cream paper interior, wide margins, generous white space, extra space between lines of text, left justified text with jagged right side, indented paragraphs and minimal use of all capital letters. Bold text is used instead of italics.
