Quarter black Oasis goat skin with leather tips and John DePol's wood-engraved pattern paper covered boards, leather spine label gilt, black cloth-covered drop-back box with paper label, large 4to., xvii, (ii), 122, (1) pages + 22 color plates. Illustrated throughout with 58 wood engravings, mainly by John DePol, mounted color and monochrome photographs and a fabric specimen. One of 175 numbered copies printed from Perpetua type on Zerkall mould made paper. Set by Michael and Winifred Bixler, calligraphy by Jerry Kelly and bound by Campbell-Logan. Loosely inserted are the prospectus, a spare label, a business card and a ANS signed by Shaver. A fine copy in a fine drop-back box.
