Illustrated covers exhibit moderate wear, bumping and fraying on corners and spine ends. Light wear on bottom edges. Moderate soiling and shelf wear to covers and spine. Spine is cocked. Inside hinges are cracked but still attached. Light soiling and yellowing to inside front and back covers, ffep's, bfep's and page ends. There is one page that has tape residue on the upper edge with a tear. Text has occasional x's in the margins. "The personal memories of a man who has followed the trails of the Grand River Valley, by land and water, from the days when its splendid forest was the home of the Indian to the present pagentry of our growing city with its commercial activities."
