New Series, 620 pages, including No. 105 to No. 130. Stories and subject matter include African Diamond Fields and the Battle of Falkirk to Organ Building and the Thoughts of Fishes. Victorian periodical, weekly literary magazine printed 1859-1895 by Charles Dickens until his death in 1870 and then taken over by his son. Successor to Dickens' "Household Words." Rather worn; green buckram boards with gilt lettering to cover and spine. Binding rather loose and top 7 cm of spine split but little loss. Pages rather tanned.
