First volume has notation: "i.II.46," presumed date of publication. Four volumes, complete, in two-piece box. Four volumes bound in blue buckram cloth with Lincoln's signature blind embossed on front, bright gilt lettered and ruled spines, deckled fore-edge, yellow top edges, all in fine condition, minimal shelf wear. Prior owner's ex-libris sticker and handwritten name an date (dated 1947) on front end paper of all volumes. Interior pages excellent, no marks. Paper covered slipcase/box with silk ribbon puller and lid. Sticker paste down very good. Box lid has split at corners (taped) and has tears and splitting on rear/back; dark blue color still bright. No dust jackets. See photos.
