About the Author

US-born Teresa Flavin is an author and illustrator who has made a name for herself in the UK with intricate and beautifully crafted mysteries. Teresa’ s love of the Renaissance, labyrinths, Scottish castles and mystery stories inspired her to pen her first novel. Her books have been shortlisted for a raft of prizes, including the Scottish Children’ s Book Award.

Richard Watson always wanted to be an illustrator. He says that as a child he was forever drawing and making stories and comics with his brother. He has worked as an illustrator since he left university and likes to use a range of techniques to create his artwork, combining traditional drawing and painting with collage and mixed media.
