The last copy right year is 1958 , the first 1950. This is a very, very nice edition this older Dr Seuss title. It has a complete DJ and is clearly from the early 60's because the front flap has price 295/295 which was the price of other Seuss books dated 1963 and after. Additionally, the book list on back cover has 17 books and SIX books for "Beginning Readers". The illustrated boards are clean, colorful and unmarred.There is light wear on corners and top & bottom of spine. Binding is firm. Interior pages are colorful and fill the entire page. All pages are clean, no creases, no tears or writing except for previous owner's name delicately written at top of FEP. This is not an ex-lib or remainder. DJ is complete and still bright and colorful. DJ has some edge wear, and rubbing. DJ is NOT price clipped and has 295/295 in top corner of front panel. DJ protected in mylar jacket. See pictures.
