Yestertime is a lyrical and heartwarming children's picture book that gently guides young readers through love, loss, and the memories of the people they hold dear. Inspired by real-life family moments, it follows joyful activities shared across generations-playing arcade games, dancing, building sandcastles, telling jokes, riding bikes, watching movies, and more.

When a beloved grandparent passes away, these same activities become a way to keep their memory alive. Through warm rhymes and vibrant illustrations, the story reassures children that while loss is painful, love continues and memories can bring comfort.

Ideal for ages 4-8, Yestertime offers families, educators, counselors, and grief organizations a compassionate starting point for conversations about death and remembrance. It validates children's emotions while modeling healthy ways to hold onto the joy of shared experiences. Perfect for storytime, classroom use, or as a gift to a grieving child, it reminds readers of all ages that love never fades-it simply takes on new shapes in our hearts.
