The Yielded Mind

Most books about spiritual growth tell you to try harder. This one makes the opposite case.

The Yielded Mind begins with a simple but honest truth. The harder many of us try to change, the more frustrated we become. Effort alone cannot renew the mind.

Eric S. Hayes writes from experience. A restless mind, spiritual struggle, and the limits of self-effort led to a deeper discovery. Real change began when striving stopped and surrender began.

Scripture calls us to "be transformed by the renewal of your mind" (Romans 12:2). Renewal does not come through pressure or performance. Renewal begins as we yield our thinking to the Holy Spirit who lives within every believer.

This book walks through four movements the Spirit uses to renew the mind: Revelation, Conflict, Discipline, and Surrender. As these take root, Transformation follows-not as something we produce, but as the work of the Spirit within us.

Each section includes Scripture, reflection, and practical steps to help you live this out daily.

For those weary of trying harder, for small groups seeking honest growth, and for believers who want their thoughts and lives guided by Christ, this book offers a clear and biblical path forward.

The mind of Christ is not a standard to reach.

He is a Person to receive.
