About the Author
DR. ANLONG XU studied immunogenetics and received his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He completed his postdoc at the University of California, San Diego and worked at Alliance Pharmaceutical Corp. After conducting ten years of research in the United States, Dr. Xu returned to Sun Yat-sen University in China and is a professor in Molecular Biology and Immunology and president of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. Dr. Xu has published nearly 200 papers in peer-reviewed international journals and is on the editorial board of several prestigious biomedical journals.
Dr. MEHMET OZ the Emmy Award-winning host of The Dr. Oz Show; and attending physician at New York Presbyterian-Columbia Medical Center. He has authored over 400 original scientific publications, book chapters, and medical books, and eightNew York Times Best Sellers. He also authors a newspaper column in 175 syndicated markets internationally, and is founder of Dr. Oz The Good Life magazine. Dr. Oz has received numerous patents, including the famed percutaneous mitral valve clip.
