The dust jacket is quite worn, with several short tears (none longer than 1/2 inch), some small chips to the edges, a tiny bit of fraying, also along the edges, and a price-clipped dust jacket flap. However, it still fits snugly around the book, which is clean, with a strong binding, no page folds, no tears, and no writing. Illustrated with numerous black and white photographs, including that of a horse with all important parts of its anatomy pointed out and identified. Indexed. 94 pages. Securely packed in a lidded box.
