Thirteenth Edition; significant damp stains to once ornate covers; some rippling and discoloration to last 100 pages; but tissue paper still intact over frontispiece engraving; hinges intact and uncracked; corners and spine ends bumped; pages unmarked; previous owners' inscriptions on first fly leaf. External condition is certainly "poor," but the serviceable interior rates, I think, a "Fair." Charming little book (apparently first published in 1836). Strong & Brodhead appear to have been located at "No. 1 Cornhill" in Boston.
