About the Author

Emil Dean Peeler is an international speaker, pastor, and motivational therapist who is the director/speaker for Open Bible Ministries, Inc. He has been blessed to have spoken to tens of thousands about the love of Christ over the past twenty years.

Born and raised in Sacramento, California, he was fortunate to have been brought up in a stable, Christian home. He excelled in academics and sports, and he was the youngest political intern in the office of the governor of California.

Dr. Peeler has been blessed to have received many awards for his church and community involvement. In 2001, he received the National Adventist Man of the Year Award from the Frank Loris Peterson Men’s Society.

His passions are varied, from counseling at-risk teens, to producing and writing music. His favorite pastimes are playing golf and reading biographies. He is joined in ministry by his wife, Brenda, and three daughters, LaDonna, Nicole and Alisha.
