Zack Naturally (Hardback or Cased Book)

This book is perfect for any parent, grandparent, or adult caregiver to buy for a child who has ever dealt with issues of social isolation, low self-esteem, anxiety, or negative thinking. It's a high quality rhyming mother-son chat that teaches as intelligently as it reads.

"Zack Naturally" is called a "Zen companion" because its prime mission is to help young people to realize that they are so much more than their minds would suggest. Zen psychology borrows from East Asian wisdom that holds that human beings, no matter what mistakes they've made and what doubts they may have, are perfect parts of nature and thus need no apologies to just be themselves.....

In this clever poetic dialogue between a mother and her son, Dr. LoConte uses simple natural elements to help children ages 7 to 107 realize that they are exactly the way that they should be and that having a sad heart is only a sign that they are thinking something bad about themselves that just isn't real.

While reading this poignant story of a young boy realizing that his mean thoughts about himself are understandable but untrue, we all come to have more hope that we may redefine our purpose from being "right" or "perfect" to being ourselves, belonging, and loving the world that we live in and those who live in it with us.
