Originally issued as the author's doctoral dissertation, this book now stands as one of only a handful of definitive biographies on Zelda, exposing her many other dimensions & talents aside from her status as "F. Scott Fitzgerald's crazy wife." In 424 pages with 16 pages of black-and-white photographs, this hardcover book has bright green cloth-covered boards with silver lettering to spine & front cover. Though identical in all aspects to the first edition, this is a Book Club edition, as indicated by blind stamp to lower back cover. Condition is Fine: completely clean, binding is strong & straight, pages creamy white. The unclipped DJ (with orig. $10 price & BOMC blurb on front flap) is VG, marred by moderate rubbing & wrinkling & short tears to both ends of spine, corner chipping.
