Zelda has big plans—she wants to be the first chicken in space. She leaves nothing to chance as she builds her spaceship, plans her experiments, and packs for the journey. All she needs now is a little help from her friends, and if they won’t step up, Zelda will just have to manage on her own! Eye-popping art and a story of perseverance and ingenuity prove that for a plucky hen, the sky is never the limit.
This modern twist on the traditional The Little Red Hen story features an endearing and resourceful chicken determined to fulfill her dream.
What happens when your friends won’t help you build a spaceship?
- STEM for Kids: Zelda designs and builds her very own spaceship, plans her experiments, and trains for weightlessness in this fun introduction to science and engineering.
- A Little Red Hen Retelling: Discover a modern, space-age twist on the classic fable when Zelda’s friends are too busy to help her achieve her out-of-this-world dream.
- A Story of Perseverance: When everyone says no, Zelda proves that with enough ingenuity and grit, you can manage all on your own—and even fly to the stars!
- Inspiring Animal Adventure: Join the first chicken in space as she weighs stardust, counts planets, and shows every kid that their biggest dreams are within reach.
