Zero Bugs and Program Faster

Good codebases have clean bug trackers. Bad codebases have overfull bug trackers. This book presents a new approach to software development: start by improving the skill of individual programmers. Once the bug-count is going in the right direction (down slowly at first), then the team will find more time to develop new features, and new features will have fewer bugs. Programmers learn from looking at good code, so included are some legendary, famous, and hilarious code examples (it's up to you to figure out which is which). Kate has been programming since her family got a Commodore 64 computer when she was young. Her teaching career began shortly after when she taught her brothers the basics of programming. Kate has worked in the computer industry for decades. She's worked for Qualcomm, Amazon, AOL and Verizon, but she prefers the environment in smaller companies. As she gained experience, she realized there were things her coworkers didn't understand, and she wished they did. That is when she started writing. Her books start basic, but also include advanced concepts. Kate hopes you enjoy her book! Visit her website at: http: //www.zerobugsandprogramfaster.net/
