Zhanna

A woman without a past. A man with everything to lose. A secret that refuses to stay buried.
Zhanna is a modern-day detective thriller set against the contrasting backdrops of Kiev, Crimea, and the northeastern United States. It is the third novel in the Harper Series, delivering intrigue, danger, and a slow-burning romance wrapped in international suspense.
Giancarlo Marchetti is under relentless pressure. As the head of his family’s powerful business empire—and with deep ties to a Mafia past—he hasn’t taken a single break in over a year. Seeking escape and closure, he retreats to Crimea on the first anniversary of his grandfather’s assassination.
His attempt at peace ends the morning he discovers a beautiful, unconscious woman washed ashore near the villa he’s renting.
She is alive—but barely.
Who is she?
How did she survive the Sea of Azov?
Why is her body marked with scars—and who wanted her dead?
When she awakens, the answers don’t come. She has amnesia, no memory of her identity, and no idea why someone tried to kill her. Turning her over to the authorities could put her straight back into the hands of her attackers. With no past and no protection, she is utterly vulnerable.
Giancarlo makes a dangerous choice.
He takes her home to America.
Told through multiple perspectives, Zhanna weaves together mystery, romance, and high-stakes suspense. As her memories slowly resurface, they intertwine with Giancarlo’s own life—his power, his secrets, and the shadow of violence that has followed his family for generations.
Together, they search for the truth…
and dare to believe in love, hope, and a future free from danger.
But some pasts refuse to stay hidden.
