"La yaya Meti" es un c�mic lleno de humor inspirado por distintas visitas de Aapo Rapi a su abuela Meeri, de 85 a�os. Meeri vive una vida tranquila y apacible cerca del bosque, en donde la entrevista sobre su vida, tocando muchos de los eventos clave del siglo XX europeo. Rapi crea una especie de historia no oficial de Finlandia, contada desde el punto de vista de los desfavorecidos y los iletrados.

A pesar de su juventud, Aapo Rapi (1977, Helsinki) est� considerado como uno de los mejores autores de c�mic finlandeses de todos los tiempos. Es miembro, junto a Marko Turunen, Tommi Musturi y Matti Hagelberg, del colectivo Kutikuti y responsable de la edici�n de su revista, Kuti. Entre sus libros publicados se encuentran Salchov (1999), Pullapoika (2005), Kelom�kkien mies (2006), Naaburger (2009), Kyningas Toffee (2008) y Meti (2008), este �ltimo nominado a Mejor Obra en el Festival de Angoul�me. En la actualidad, Aapo Rapi sigue realizando c�mics, trabaja como ilustrador a tiempo parcial e imparte cursos de c�mic para ni�os.
