Thomas Landseer (1795-1880) - brother of the more famous Edwin Landseer. The plates from this rare book show Monkeys engaged in various 'human' pursuits showing how 'humans' are prone to behave like animals, rather than the other way around. CONDITION Oveall excellent condition. There might be some light tone spots at the edges of each plate. The black text might not be fully readable on the scan but readale on the original plate. Approx overall size is 23cm x 26cm with large margins, perfect for mounting and framing. We only sell original antique maps and prints as dated.
