Early lithographic posters were just a step up from the letterpress posters that preceded them. Lithography allowed advertisers to add color to advertising posters which had, up until then, mainly been black and white. / This early poster for Hutchinson tires (a copy which still exists, and in fact dominates much of the French market) is a beautiful example of early lithography. Tax stamp on the top right of final 'N' is another hint this is an original, non-reproduction poster. This poster measure 7.5 x 23.25 inches and is ready to be framed. Seller Inventory # FR014
