The fair has been taking place since 1904 and since 1923 has been held at the exhibition grounds of the Porte de Versailles in Paris. || The Foire always takes place around the end of April and lasts just over a week. These types of fairs trace their origins to colonial exhibitions and world fairs during which an Empire (such as France) could demonstrate to the world their colonial exploits and resources. || Signed in the lithographic plate by Solon, this poster is in very good condition and is ready to frame.
