Antique print, titled: 'Maghey-Aloe' - Etching/engraving on hand laid paper. Description: From Abbe Prevost's "Histoire Generale des Voygaes" (?), published 1767. Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Jakob van der Schley' after an anonymous artist. Jakob van der Schley (Amsterdam, 1715-1779). Van der Schley was a Dutch draughtsman and engraver, who studied under Bernard Picart, and whose style he subsequently copied. Condition: Good, given age. Lower right margin and image corner stained. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully. Storage location: A279-39 The overall size is ca. 7.1 x 9.3 inch.
