Plate: 'Citadelle de Huy.' (Castle / Fortress of Huy / Hoey, Belgium.) This plate shows the city along the Meuse / Maas river. Original etching. Description: Collector's piece. This artisctic old antique print / etching originates from a very scarse work: 'En Canot de Douai au Helder.' (By Canoe from Douai, France to Den Helder, Netherlands.), by Jules Cavrois and Henri Duhem, published in Paris by C. Marpon and Flammarion in 1881. Artists and Engravers: Henri Duhem (1860-1941) was a French lawyer, painter and collector. The etchings are by R. Bureau after Duhem. Condition: Excellent. General age related toning. Storage location: C2-08 The overall size is ca. 8.3 x 4.9 inch. The image size is ca. 4.7 x 3.5 inch. The overall size is ca. 21 x 12.5 cm. The image size is ca. 12 x 9 cm.
