(Lesson of life / moral lessons by Horatius). We carry more items from this series.Artists and Engravers: The emblem / print is possibly engraved by S. Fokke (one emblem on the dedication page shows his name) after "Emblemata Horatium", by O. Vaenius (Otto van Veen; 1556-1629). The accompanying text consist of poems by Anthony Janssen van ter Goes (1626-1699) Condition: Fine; age related toning; some light staining from handling as visible on the scanned images.
