From: "Les Arts Somptuaires, Histoire du Costume et de l'Amueublement" (Hangard-Mauge, 1858). The images are mostly inspired by medieval manuscripts, or other antique examples. Chromolithograph on wove (vellin) paper. Made by 'Krause' after 'Ciappori'. Good, given age. Margins a little soiled/foxed. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling.
