Description: From a large series of portraits of European nobility. Provenance: Monogram (Not in Lugt).Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Balthasar Moncornet' after own design. Balthasar Moncornet (c.1600-1668) was a French painter, engraver and print dealer. He is an interesting and talented, but under-appreciated engraver. He is the father of Jean Moncornet. Condition: Good, given age. Small margins. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
