The image size is ca. 5.9 x 3.9 inch.Original engraving, captioned "Joan XIX vs. 39" (John 19:39). It shows the coming of Nicodemus with myrrh and aloes for the embalming of the body of Jesus Christ. Christ is carried in the arms of two men, while Nicodemus respectfully offers his gift to teh deceased. On the far right is a man preparing a coffin, of the left a group of three grieving women can be seen. In 2018 he decided to further develop his personal collection through 'Pictura Prints'. Peter has a background in design and landscape architecture and holds a degree in paper restauration. He holds shop in Overasselt, a small town on the Maas river near Nijmegen, The Netherlands, which can be visited by appointment. He is a member of the Dutch Association of Antiquarians (NVVA) and the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB).

We ship worldwide and package our items meticulously. We carry an umbrella insurance policy. Our shipment rates are based on shipments up to 1 kg. For heavier shipments we will contact you with a quote. Currently our surcharge for international shipments over 1 kg is 9,14 euro / kg.
