This old antique masterprint originates from an unknown source published ca. 1680. Our definition of a Master Print is a seperately published print or series of prints, not being an illustrative print to a text. These can both be prints made by old masters (artists) or prints made by others (artists, engravers, etchers) after old masters.Artists and Engravers: Willman del. Michael / Michal Willmann (German, 1630-1706). Studied under his father, then went to Amsterdam to study and copied after Rembrandt and Rubens. He then returned to Germany and lived in Breslau and Prague. In 1660 he went to Berlin where the elector Frederic William named him court painter at Konigsberg.Condition: Good. General age-related toning. No margins. A few very small pin holes at corners. Rear: Paper at corners a bit thin from previous attachment to carrier. Remains of glue. He holds shop in Overasselt, a small town on the Maas river near Nijmegen, The Netherlands, which can be visited by appointment. He is a member of the Dutch Association of Antiquarians (NVVA) and the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB).

We ship worldwide and package our items meticulously. We carry an umbrella insurance policy. Our shipment rates are based on shipments up to 1 kg. For heavier shipments we will contact you with a quote. Currently our surcharge for international shipments over 1 kg is 9,14 euro / kg.
