Source unknown, to be determined.Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Philippus Velijn' after an anonymous artist. Philippus Velijn (1786-1836) originated from Leiden. He was a pupil of Abraham Delfos. He later worked in Amsterdam and Paris as a professional engraver.Condition: Very good, given age. A dark dampstain in the lower left margin corner. Small stains in margin. Remains of tape from previous attachment on rear. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. In 2018 he decided to further develop his personal collection through 'Pictura Prints'. Peter has a background in design and landscape architecture and holds a degree in paper restauration. He holds shop in Overasselt, a small town on the Maas river near Nijmegen, The Netherlands, which can be visited by appointment. He is a member of the Dutch Association of Antiquarians (NVVA) and the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB).

We ship worldwide and package our items meticulously. We carry an umbrella insurance policy. Our shipment rates are based on shipments up to 1 kg. For heavier shipments we will contact you with a quote. Currently our surcharge for international shipments over 1 kg is 9,14 euro / kg.
