Description: Source unknown, to be determined.Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Albert Henry Payne ' after 'Salvator Rosa'. Albert Henry Payne (English; 1812-1902) was one of the great publishers of steel engravings. Originally from London, he worked in Leipzig and Dresden. Salvator Rosa (1615-1673) was an Italian Baroque painter, poet and printmaker, active in Naples, Rome and Florence. Condition: Good, given age. Ample margins. A crease in the lower right margin corner. A small stain in the top margin. Some faint soiling. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
