From "Nouveau Theatre d'Italie" (1704). -- in good condition. || || Joan Blaeu (1596 1673) was a Dutch cartographer, the son of renowned cartographer, atlas maker and publisher Willem Blaeu. He and his brother Cornelius took over the studio after the death of their father in 1638. He then became the official cartographer of the Dutch East India Company.
