Used as a set of three posters to promote the 1965 official release of the First Ballantine paperbacks of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. This was in response to the illegal Ace paperbacks. The individual posters have become extremely rare, but to have all three and in nice condition is impossible. I doubt we'll do this again. Very little paper damage to edges and the colours have not faded. The inks were not colour fast so they are usually badly faded or have damage from pin holes and paper damage to corners. Posters are 3 ft high x 2 ft feet wide, large banner is 3 x 6 feet. We recommend dry mounting and framing it. The inks were not colour fast and will fade if not mounted behind UV glass/plastic. We suggest true-view plastic to keep the weight down and to make the images crisper. Seller Inventory # 002422
